National Museums Liverpool blog
National Museums Liverpool welcomes groups from all nurseries, schools, colleges and communities to its museums and galleries.
We invite you to look round and study in our galleries on your own, or take part in sessions organised by us. Go to our learning sessions database for details.
You can find general visitor information for all our venues on this website, including details of access, opening times, or temporary gallery closures.

We have published some information leaflets to help teachers and group leaders prepare for a visit. They contain practical information about booking and running a visit, lunch rooms, safety information and sample risk assessments.
If you would like us to send you a copy please complete the contact learning form. You can also download a pdf version of the leaflets below. Text versions of three of the leaflets are also available to download where indicated.

Learning Live contains an outline of the learning opportunities we offer to ‘formal’ education groups. It is distributed to schools in the North West via the local education authorities. Details of the learning sessions available are described on this website in our learning sessions database.
The Learning Live brochures for autumn term 2008 are currently available. You can download a copy of each one below:
If you would like to receive your own copy please complete the contact learning form.
Community Live: Learning for All is our brochure outlining the learning provision we offer to communities: to early years, children, young people, adults and older people, refugees and asylum seekers, and disabled people. It also contains useful contact details. You can download a copy here:
