Victoria gallery and museum located in the “red brick”the Victoria building is a piece of art in itself. A gothic building intricately renovated houses the university of Liverpool’s amazing fine art collection, Sculpture, ceramics, furniture, silver, scientific equipment, fossils, zoological specimens collected and donated to the university throughout its culture and history.
The museum was opened on 28 May 2008 after a massive restoration, which costs 8.6 billion.
The art collection spans the 16th and 21st centuries more than 6,500 items of furniture, fine art, sculpture, silverware, and glass. Some great highlights of the museum include x - rays the beginning of the technology, footprints from the North West and an early twentieth-century dental surgery.
